This magical elixir that was fed to me in teaspoons as an infant by my grandmother who raised me until I was practically old enough to drive. Releases such endorphins into my brain every time I get even the smallest hints of it in the air. There are no words to describe the pure joy cuban coffee brings me when I sit down in the morning to partake. Well, thats not true.. Their is, addiction but out of the plethora of vices to choose from I’m glad this is the worst of them for me.
Now, I’v asked around and apparently I’m not the only one raised on a steady diet of <insert_latin_nationality_here> coffee. My question is do you know anyone raised on a similar regiment? It would be interesting to see on a map where these practices take place, as well as to verify this isn’t simply some sort of Latin cultural characteristics.
Let me know. :)
Hey guys,
Just wanted to inform you of a new project I’ve been working on with @Davidedicillo and @orical.
As you may or may not now, location based services are the hotness right now. Foursquare is one of them, and it’s gaining traction reminiscent of Twitter circa 2007. The idea is that you go around and check-in to different venues with an application that resides on your phone. As you do this, your friends can see what you are up to and choose to join you. The one problem is that check-ins are text based and you can’t drop a photo or video at that location. What if you want to show everyone this great beer you’re drinking as opposed to just describing it.
We aim to solve that by providing an iPhone application that allows people to check-in with a photo or video, in addition the app will show users all photos and videos dropped at a particular venue. The app is called SquarePik it’s built on top of our API and will be available shortly in the iTunes store for just $1.99
Let me know what you think. I’ll post some redemption codes here as soon as it drops in the store.
